Greetings, So i have read the documentation and followed it step by step. However, I am still confused about some parts. Forgive me as I am a beginner. I am grasping that "slider" refers to creating a slide show. However, I can only seem to post one picture to my homepage unlike the homepage in the demo which has a slideshow. So QUESTION 1: How do you create the slideshow like you have in the demo? Secondly, I have messed around with posting blog posts, but I do not see how to get them to post on my home page as well as on my blog page and how to categorize them like you have in the demo. So QUESTION 2: how do i get my home page to be both static but include my blog posts like you have on your demo? Question 3: how do i categorize my blog posts like you have in the demo?   Hi, Our theme uses shortcodes to generate the output. Use Import.xml file provided with the theme to import the content from our Demo. After a successful import there will be created a couple of pages with examples using each shortcodes. Have a nice day ;)

Hi, I have installed the theme and have worked out how to get the main slider on the main page. But when I have added some pictures of the correct size to display in the slider, it looks out of proportion and I get a scroll bar just for the slider. What am I doing wrong?? Kind Regards Haydn

Quick question about the free theme! (I absolutely love it and will be purchasing more themes from you guys). How are you able to change the text of things like "Featured Work", "Our Clients", "Sketches", etc. Like if I wanted to change the text on the home page to say "My Work", "Our Sponsors", etc. Thanks!

Ok well I solved the issue by changing the Title in the short code for the "Our Clients" section. And I figured out the "Sketches" part comes from the Categories. Now all I need is to figure out how to change the text that says, "Featured Work". Its part of the portfolio section on the homepage. Thanks!

  Hi Sergio, we recommend the Codestyling Localization plugin for translations http://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/, but if you want to deal with .po and .mo files directly, you can use Poedit as well. Regards!

Hi Tesla Team, I read some of the above replies that you mentioned about demo file such as import.xml. does this come with the paid version or with this free theme? The only xml file i could find is called tesla_export.xml . is this the same thing? thanks

  Hi Lawrence, there are plenty of plugins you could use to translate your content or make your site multilingual. We are currently working with WPML to make our themes compatible with it, so in the future you'll be able to use it. Regards.

    Hello, I had written three times on FB but whatever I am happy now. I installed the theme but I can't create a slideshow as on the home page of your site example https://teslathemes.com/demo/wp/tesla/. I read the documentation. But I haven't "type" option in Media but only "title", "caption" and "description". And I don't have either the ability to import the demo to help me. I have Wordpress 3.8.1, can you help me please?       Hi, first of all get the theme from your Tesla account, this might be the version you need. Second, to import demo follow these steps: find the “Import demo.xml” file in your theme’s archive, extract the import file from there. Then, go to your WordPress admin, in “Tools”->”Import” and select “WordPress”. Upload the import file that you’ve extracted earlier. Hope these instructions will help you. Regards.
